Who Are We?

Little Dragons Pre-school has been active on the Isle of Portland since 1970. We are a committee run Pre-school and are always looking for new parents and carers to join and help us to strengthen the setting. We enjoy a close partnership with the adjoining school, St Georges Primary School. We liaise with the reception Unit regularly which involves teachers visiting the children in our own setting and getting to know them and also for our children to visit the Reception Unit and become familiar with it. This really helps the children to make a smooth transition into school life.

At Little Dragons Pre-school we aim to provide a happy, inclusive and safe environment where your child can learn through play.

  We welcome all children and families from all backgrounds.

  Using the Early Years Foundation Stage Programme we can help your child to acquire the skills and confidence which they need to help them be ready for school.

  We ensure that although your child is here to learn, it's most important that your child has endless fun.
